Random Thoughts

As I said in the last post, I haven't been writing on here in a long while, so here's some random tidbits of information I thought I would add:

  • "Annie" was awesome! Everyone did a great job; I just wish I could have gone tonight or tomorrow to see it again!
  • It's finally December, my favorite time of year! I love the holidays.
  • The weather has been on and off lately; it was nice and cool earlier this week, but yesterday and today were hot again. Although it gets cool in the mornings, it usually warms up after first hour- typical Sunshine State weather. :(
  • Oh yeah, I've been getting a lot of mail from colleges but there all the same- they want to send me all kinds of college preparation pamphlets and such. It's a bit annoying because I thought they all look the same and I was hoping for something a bit more interesting. Oh well.
  • I can't find a layout I truly like, so if I switch between like five in two minutes, sorry.
  • I told you vampires are better. :D

Long time, no hear??

Wow, I realized I haven't been on here in a long time; I guess I didn't have much to talk about- or time to type it, what with WHAP and everything else. I suppose you could say life is good, considering there's not really anything horrible going on these days; for me that is. I mean there's still stuff like global warming and melting polar ice caps and whatever else has spawned from human existence. lol. But for me, life is good. I find it easy to love life when you sit back and think about all the things you won't remember in the long run that you stress over right now. It makes you realize what's really important in life to you, not what some people say is important. Although some things are worth stressing over. This moment, for example, I should be working on my mountain-load of homework, so I really don't have time to be writing this; however, obviously I'm not. How easily distracted you can become when you have a bunch of things you need to do. You just grab at any chance you get to do something other than what you should and need to do. That, my friends, is what we call procrastination. And quite frankly, Vanessa is tired of procrastination. Sure, you have fun avoiding the important tasks, but when the time comes when you really must do it, you get yourself stuck betwixt the enemies of unwillingness, guilt, and time. It would be nice if, as my chemistry teacher would say, you could go to the grocery store, go to the spice aisle and buy thyme.
Well, I'm off to do what I'd rather not. But that's alright; I suppose without challenges, the world would be quite boring.
